1. Intended Use The Heidelberg upright stander Standard is designed for physiological stabilisation of the user. The upright stander Standard is available in different sizes. These instructions for use describe: • Type 101 (size 3) - for adults with a max. weight of 100 kg •...
Only original spare parts and accessories shall be used. Rehatec® GmbH only provides a warranty if the upright stander is used under the specified conditions and for the intended purposes (see chapter „1.6 Warranty and service“).
1. Intended Use 1.4 C A R E A N D M A I N T E N A N C E The user is responsible for regular maintenance and care. 1.4.1 C L E A N I N G I N T H E P R I VAT E , D O M E S T I C A R E A Do not use abrasive agents or rough cloths for cleaning.
• It is important that all components are undamaged during use. Therefore, check them regularly and have them repaired or replaced if necessary. The upright stander Standard must be serviced every 12 months, taking into account any maintenance intervals to be carried out earlier, in accordance with the following inspection schedule.
1.5.1 R E U S E O R R E P R O C E S S I N G The operator/care provider is responsible for reuse or reprocessing. The Upright stander Standard is basically suitable for reuse, although products in reuse are subject to special stress.
Warranty services refer to defects of the product that are demonstrably due to material or manufacturing defects. The Upright Stander Standard is guaranteed for 3 years from the date of delivery on the frame parts. Any defects are covered by Rehatec® GmbH free of charge.

Combinations of the standing system with third-party products of any kind can be dangerous. Rehatec® GmbH accepts no liability for damage and/or complications resulting from such combinations. Never leave the patient unattended! Depending on the medical condition and weight, 1-2 helpers are needed to lift the user into the standing system.

Range of adjustment must not be exceeded. Secure clamping of the adjusted parts must be guaranteed. During all repair and adjustment work, be aware of the risk of pinching and crushing! Never use force when making adjustments. Improper handling may cause defects and/or damage to the unit. If necessary, read the instructions.
3. Product and Delivery Overview 3.1 S CO P E O F D E L I V E RY The Upright Stander Standard is usually supplied fully assembled and set up for the patient by an authorised specialist dealer. The Upright Stander Standard is available in different sizes.
3. 2 ACC E S S O R I E S Accessories are parts or components that are not included in the standard version of your Upright Stander. It is recommended to order the desired accessories with the initial order.

4.1.2 W I T H S W I V E L A R M F R A M E • If the upright stander has a back support, it must first be removed. (see chapter „Back support“). • Fold the tray completely forwards or upwards. To open the frame: Open the star knob counterclockwise.

Operation As a rule, the patient must be supported in this maneuver. • Remove the patient‘s feet from the sandals and remove the upright stander from the patient. • Close the swivel arm frame (see chapter „Standing training with swivel arm frame“) and mount the back support, if available (see chapter „Back support“).
5. Adjusting the unit When carrying out any adjustment work, be aware of the risk of pinching and crushing. Adjustments should be made by two people to prevent possible injuries! If castors are present, they must be locked before adjusting the unit! 5.1 M U LT I F R A M E (O P T I O N A L ) With the Multi frame, the frame can be tilted forwards by up to 20°.

Angle adjustment of the tray (optional) An angle adjustable tray is part of the Multi frame, allowing you to return the tray to a horizontal position when adjusting the tilt. Loosen the wing screws . Raise or lower the tray to the desired height. Tighten the wing screws again.
