Alterations, repairs, maintenance work and upgrades of the therapy chair may only be carried out by authorized persons, and only with original spare parts and accessories. Rehatec’s warranty applies only when the product is used according to the specified conditions and for the intended purposes (see also „Warranty and Service“).

Supine-Bear „Lasse“ Do not apply force during setup the device (for instance height adjustment), otherwise may occur damage of the device due to improper handling. If necessary, read the manual. The screw connections of the foot plates are hand-tightened in the delivery condition! Only after the foot plates have been adapted to the patient's foot, the screws are firmly tightened.
3. PRODUCT AND DELIVERy OVERVIEW 3.1. Delivery Content Typically, the Lasse is delivered fully assembled and pre-adjusted to the child by the authorized supplier. Lasse is available in different sizes. For more information on the size and permissible weight, please refer to the table in the "Technical data" section.

User Manual 5. PREPARING THE DEVICE Before using the Supine-Bear “Lasse” you have to adjust it to the body measurements of the child! Variable positioning through multi-functional adjustment of height, depth and tilt angle, provides safe supine positioning as well as interactive, supported vertical standing. Flexible leg rests, divided in three interconnected parts, allow easy individual adjustment to accommodate possible contractures of the leg musculature.

User Manual 5.9. Individual footplates Two footplates belong with the Supine-Bear “Lasse”. They should be adjusted to the needed height of the user‘s feet. The various adjustment options allow for adjustment of foot length and ankle position as well as for consideration of therapeutic goals (e.g. correction of pes equinus where accessories available).
Supine-Bear „Lasse“ Pes equinus correction (optional) The screw connections of the foot plates are hand-tightened when delivered! Only after the foot plates have been adapted to the patient's foot, the screws should be firmly tightened. Use an Allen key (size 5) to loosen the screws on the ball joint below the foot plates.
All belts and positioning means must be in the correct position and fastened. Belts may not be twisted. Check the belts at regular intervals. The following steps describe the easiest way to open the harness and position the child comfortably. Opening and Closing Open or close the zipper completely. If necessary, open the snap-in buckles by pushing them in or push them in and snap them into place.
User Manual 5.12. Hydraulic tilt of the entire Supine-Bear “Lasse” The Supine-Bear “Lasse” has a hydraulic tilt mechanism which is operated by the hand lever at the head rest. The device must be positioned with sufficient clearance. No persons or objects are allowed in the swivel range - danger of collision! Pay attention to hazards of jamming and crushing.
Before you can adjust the standing aid, it must be connected to the power supply. (See chapter "Commissioning the drive") With the help of the hand switch, the Lasse can be sleeplessly adjusted. Select "UP" or "DOWN". Hold down the button and place the patient in the desired position.

Supine-Bear „Lasse“ 5.18. Battery use and -operations As long as the control is supplied with the mains voltage, the automatic charging circuit ensures a permanent operational readiness. After a network-dependent use of the device, the rechargeable battery should be recharged immediately by restoring the mains connection.

Supine-Bear „Lasse“ • The Lasse should be checked every twelve months with consideration of the previously performed maintenance intervals. The maintenance table should be filled out by the dealer. • Unauthorized alterations or changes to the drive system are not permitted for safety reasons.
10. DISPOSAL / RECyCLING This product must not be disposed of with normal domestic waste. For the Supine-Bear „Lasse“ proper disposal should be carried out. For this purpose please contact your dealer. Packaging materials must be separated according to their types of waste and must be disposed in the waste containers according to municipality policy of sorting and recycling.
Warranty extends to defects of the product as result of provable flows of material or workmanship. A three year warranty is provided for all frame parts of the Supine-Bear “Lasse”. Defect parts will be repla-ced free of cost.
