To work in the FUNCTION SWITCHING MODE menu :
Use UP or DOWN to move the red field.
Press CAL or PRE to scroll into the list of available options (see
below). Use CAL to go down in the list to the following function,
or PRE to go up in the list.
Press CLEAR to leave the menu without saving.
Press ENTER to save.
The options are:

NO ACTION
NO ACTION
UNDERSCAN
4/3
NO DELAY
(*) SAD ON
(*) INVALID COLOR ON
COLOR ON
APERTURE ON
CTI ON
SPLITSCREEN ON
(*) POSITION LEFT UPPER
(*) POSITION CENTER UPPER
(*) POSITION RIGHT UPPER
(*) SOUNDMODE STEREO
(*) SOUNDMODE STEREO
(*) SOUNDMODE MONO
(*) SOUND 1
*) : item shown only when available on the monitor.
Select different items for SW1 and SW2, otherwise you get a fault
message "INVALID SELECTION COMBINATION" when
entering.
As you see, the list of options can be subdivided in three groups :
input selections, status settings (CAL & PRE), and other functions.
The factory settings for FUNCTION SWITCHING are :
for SW1 : UNDERSCAN - OVERSCAN and
for SW2 : 4/3 - 16/9.
Note : for COLOR ON - OFF, following selections are possible
depending on whether there is a colour signal at the input or not :
COLOR AUTOMATIC - COLOR OFF/FILTERED
COLOR OFF/FILTERED - COLOR OFF/FULL BANDWIDTH.
