The filter traps dirt particles, preventing them from entering the timer and causing clogging. Please clean the filter regularly and replace it if worn.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.

- Insert 2 new AAA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included).
- Put the battery compartment cover back on the timer and press firmly to make sure it is completely sealed.
Note:
- Install the battery compartment cover securely after installing the battery to ensure waterproofing.
- When the timer is not used for a long time, please remove the batteries and dispose of them properly.
- Replace batteries when the low battery indicator
appears on display.
After you done it, please remember to reset your watering plans. - Don't dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
- To ensure a longer lifespan, please use 2 new AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Don't mix new and old alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
INSTALLING THE DEVICE
- Turn off the garden faucet.
- Wrap Teflon Tape around the faucet threads.
- Screw the timer to the garden faucet and make the display as vertical as possible to the ground to prevent rainwater from accumulating and leaking into the interior.

- Wrap Teflon Tape around the threads of the timer outlet.
- Screw the garden hose to the timer outlet.
- Turn on the faucet after programming the timer.
Tips: If the connection between the timer and the faucet or hose is not tight or leaking, wrap more Teflon Tape(thread seal tape) to make them tight.

Note:
Please do not use tools, only install the timer by hand.
When expecting freezing temperatures, timers should be removed from the hose faucet and stored indoors to avoid potential freeze damage.
Please install the filter properly and keep it clean as follows.

ACTIVATE THE UNIT BEFORE USE
Please activate the device before using it for the first time or after a period of inactivity.
Activation Steps:
- Keep the garden faucet turned off.
- Turn the timer dial to "ON".
- Press and hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5s to enter Manual Watering Mode.

- Re-press the "ZONE" button twice to select both ZONE L and ZONE R. When the screen flashes, immediately press the "OK" button to run manual watering.

- After hearing 2 "click" sounds or waiting for about 5 secs, the valves in the timer is opened, and then turn the dial to "OFF" to close the valves.
- Repeat the step 2-5 for 3-5 times.
- Test: Turn on the faucet a little bit, and then repeat the step 2-5 to check if the water flow out or shut off as expected.
If yes, the timer valve is normal, please use it with confidence!
If not, please repeat the above steps several times or contact RAINPOINT support team immediately.
Note:
When testing, please keep away from the water timer outlet to avoid being splashed and wet.
PROGRAMMING THE UNIT
UNDERSTANDING ZONES
This is a two-zone timer allowing you to water two different areas from the same faucet. Each zone can be programmed with independent start time, how long, and how often.
Note: Dual zones operating simultaneously have lower water pressure than single zone because the water pressure is divided between the two zones.
Please design the program separately for each ZONE:
- First, keep ZONE L and complete the settings, following the steps 1-4 below. Then turn the dial to "ON" to save the changes.
- Press "ZONE" button to select ZONE R, and follow steps 2-4 to set up. Turn the dial to "ON" to save all the plans.
SET CLOCK

- Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.

- Use the "+" or "-" button to select 12H/24H mode, press "OK" to confirm.
- 12H mode: with "AM" or "PM"
- 24H mode: without "AM" or "PM"

TIPS:
- Press and hold the "+" or "-" button can increase or decrease the time quickly.
- When the setup of this STEP is finished, please turn the dial to save the changes instead of press the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.
START TIME
- Turn dial to START TIME.
- Use the "+" or "-" button to set the start time.
(If you choose 12H mode, please note AM and PM). - Use the "OK" button to confirm and switch between hours or minutes.
- After confirming this plan, press the "P" button to switch watering plans (P1, P2, P3).
(When switching to another plan, the settings from the previous plan are automatically saved).
- Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this STEP and go to next STEP.
TIPS:
- Press and hold the "+" or "-" button can increase or decrease the time quickly.
- If you want to turn off a certain plan, please adjust the start time to "23: xx" (24-hour mode) or "11: xx" PM (12-hour mode) when setting the plan. Then press the "+" button again, a flashing "OFF" will appear on the screen. And press "OK" to confirm closing the plan. "OFF" on the screen is always on, indicating that the plan has been turned off.
- If you want to cancel the "OFF" plan, press the "+" or "-" button again on the plan to set its start time.
- When the setup of this STEP is finished, please turn the dial to save the changes instead of press the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.
HOW LONG
- Turn dial to HOW LONG.

- Use the "+" and "-" button to set the watering duration.
(The watering duration is from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes) - Use the "OK" button to confirm and switch between hours or minutes.
- After confirming this plan, press the "P" button to switch watering plans (P1, P2, P3).
(When switching to another plan, the settings from the previous plan are automatically saved).
- Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this STEP and go to next STEP.
TIPS:
- Press and hold the "+" or "-" button can increase or decrease the time quickly.
- If you want to turn off a certain plan, please adjust the watering duration to "00 H 00 M" when setting the plan, a flashing "OFF" will appear on the screen. And press "OK" to confirm closing the plan. "OFF" on the screen is always on, indicating that the plan has been turned off.
- If you want to cancel the "OFF" plan, press the "+" or "-" button again on the plan to set its watering duration.

HOW OFTEN
- Turn the dial to"HOW OFTEN".
- There are 2 setting modes for watering frequency.
- Day of the Week Mode
(Watering plans will run every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

- Set the Day of the Week Mode
- Use the "+" or "-" button to move cursor
to select the watering day, and press the "OK" button to confirm.
means the "Sunday" has been selected. Press "OK" again can cancel the selection. - Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this STEP and go to next STEP.
- Set the Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode
- Use the "+" button to select "Int", press "OK" to confirm, then you will enter the Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode.
- Use the"+" button to select water every 2/3/4/5/6 days, press "OK" to confirm.
- Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this STEP and go to next STEP.
Tips:
- How to return to the Day of the Week Mode?
- On the Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode, press the "OK" button twice.
- Then the "day of the week" will reappear and flash, and the below "Every" will disappear.
- How to set the water timer to water every day?
If you want to run the watering plans every day, please select every day from Monday to Sunday in the Day of the Week Mode.
(Watering plans will run every day)
- You can only choose one of the two watering frequency modes. Once one of the two is confirmed, the other will be eliminated.
- The 3 watering plans will use the same watering frequency.
- When the setup of this STEP is finished, please turn the dial to save the changes instead of press the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.
VIEW SET
- Turn the dial to "VIEW SET".
- Press the "P" and "ZONE" buttons to check all settings for different plans or zones.
TIPS: The ITV201P is a multi-schedule 2-zone watering timer.
- Each zone can be set 3 different watering plans.
- Each watering plan can be set with a different start time and watering duration.
- But there is only one watering frequency per zone. That means the 3 watering plans under the zone will all run on the same day.
For example:
- The setting of P1, P2, P3 for ZONE L
- (P1 start watering at 5:00AM, and last for 1 hour)

- (P2 start watering at 9:30AM, and last for 30 minutes)

- (P3 no watering schedule)
The ZONE L will be watered twice every 2 days. The first time starts at 5:00 am and waters for 1 hour; the second time starts at 9:30 am and waters for 30 minutes.
- The setting of P1, P2, P3 for ZONE R
- (P1 start watering at 5:00AM, and last for 1 hour)

- (P2 start watering at 9:30AM, and last for 30 minutes)

- (P3 start watering at 6:30PM, and last for 50 minutes)
The ZONE R will be watered 3 times every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The first time starts at 5:00 am and waters for 1 hour, the second time starts at 9:30 am and waters for 30 minutes, and the last time starts at 6:30 pm and waters for 50 minutes.
AUTOMATIC WATERING

- Turn dial to "ON".
- The LCD screen will display the current time and the next watering start time in ZONE L and ZONE R.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Your timer has now been programmed successfully!
It will automatically start watering based on the programmed start time, duration and frequency.
Now you can keep the faucet open and trust the timer to water!
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
RAIN DELAY MODE
Rain delay allows you to postpone watering on both zones for a set period of time without interrupting your set watering schedule. To access the rain delay, follow the steps below.
- Turn the dial to "ON", press and hold the "DELAY" button for 3-5s to enter the rain delay mode.

- In rain delay mode, you can find the option "24H" flashing on the screen. Press "+" and "-" button to select delay periods of 24H, 48H, and 72H.

- Press the "OK" button to run the delay function, then the screen will show a countdown of the remaining delay.
- To cancel the rain delay, turn the dial to "ON", then press and hold the "DELAY" button for 3-5s again to resume your programmed watering schedule.
Note:
- Please remember to press the "OK" button after selecting the rain delay time to start the rain delay program. Otherwise, the rain delay setting will automatically exit after the screen flashes for 3-5s.
MANUAL/HAND WATERING
This function allows you to manually water without interrupting your set watering schedule. To access this feature, please follow the steps below.
- Turn the dial to "ON".
- Hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5s to enter the Manual Watering Mode.

- Select the ZONE which you would like to program by pressing the "ZONE" button.
- ZONE L is selected by default. Press the "ZONE" button once to select only ZONE R.
- Press the "ZONE" button twice to select both ZONE L and ZONE R.
- Use the "+" or "-" button to adjust the manual watering time from 1 minute to 8 hours. Press "OK" to confirm and switch between hours or minutes. (The default manual watering time is 10 minutes).

- After setting the watering time, press the "OK" button immediately within 5 seconds to start manual watering and the pattern
will be displayed on the screen.

- If you need to stop the manual watering, please hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5s to exit the manual watering mode and restore the original watering program. (Or you can turn the dial to "OFF" to stop the manual watering, but please remember to turn the dial to "ON" again to restore the original watering program.)
NOTE:
- Please remember to press the "OK" button after setting the manual watering time to start manual watering. Otherwise, the manual watering setting will be automatically exited after the screen flashes for about 3-5s.
USE ONLY ONE OF THE ZONES
If you want to use only ZONE L and close ZONE R, please set it up as follows.
- Turn the dial to "Start Time" and press "Zone" to select ZONE R.
- Press "P" button to switch Plan, then press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the Hour until the screen displays OFF.
- Turn the dial to "ON" to save the changes.
* If you only want to use ZONE R and close ZONE L, the same applies.
TIPS:
- If you need to turn off only one ZONE completely, the P1, P2, and P3 of the ZONE need to be set to the "OFF" state at the same time, otherwise, the plans that are not set to the "OFF" state will continue to work.
OFF MODE
- If you wish to stop all watering plan for an extended period, turn the dial to "OFF". (Your settings are saved)
- The timer will not water automatically while in OFF mode. (The screen will display the word OFF in large letters)
- To start watering automatically again, turn the dial back to "ON" to resume your programmed watering schedule.
BATTERY STATUS
Battery status will be displayed as following:
Full
LOW Power
Note: NOTE
When the low battery indicator
appears on display. The valve will close automatically to avoid leakage. Please replace the battery in time in case of interrupting normal operation.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Possible Cause | Possible Solution |
Low water pressure | - No filter or not be placed horizontally
- The faucet is not the standard 3/4"
| - Add a filter and make sure it's placed horizontally in the inlet.
- Make sure the faucet is a standard 3/4" faucet.
- Wrap Teflon tape on the tap making it tight.

The water inlet leakage | - Long time in storage and transportation make the valve inactive
- Valve blockage
| - Keep the tap turned off and turn the timer dial to ON.
- Run the manual watering for 5-7s and stop it.
- Repeat the Step 2 for 3 to 5 times.
- Try using it normally.

No response for manual /rain delay function | - After setting manual watering or rain delay time, press the "OK" button again
| - After the time setting is completed, there is no need for any operation, wait for five seconds, and the program will start automatically.
|
Short battery life | - Mixed use of old and new batteries
- Use the carbon batteries or rechargeable batteries
| - Use new alkaline batteries.
- Rechargeable batteries and carbon batteries have a short life, use the alkaline batteries instead of them.
|
Low water pressure | - Filter blockage
- Inlet pressure not sufficient to support watering needs
| - Check if the filter is clogged, if so, clean or replace the filter.
- Make sure the timer is installed properly and not cross-threaded.
- Installation of a booster pump or other auxiliary equipment of increasing pressure.

LCD screen does not display | - The battery is exhausted
- The display is exposed to direct sunlight
| - Replace new 2*AAA alkaline batteries and installed correctly.
- Avoid direct sunlight, and observe if the battery is too low.

Dial or button problems | - The dial/valve is stuck
- Accidentally holding the OK button while inserts the batteries
| - Same procedure as above.
- Turn the dial to the OFF to check if the valve can be closed.
|
The timer does not water | - The dial turn to OFF
position - The faucet is not turned on
- The battery is dead, it shuts down automatically
- Rain delay is ON
| - Rotate the dial to ON position.
- After finishing all settings, turn on the faucet.
- Replace with new alkaline batteries.
- Waiting for the plan to resume again.

CLEANING YOUR DEVICE
After a period of use, impurities or dirt in the water may accumulate in the timer. Therefore, the timer should be cleaned regularly to ensure its proper operation.
Please follow these steps to clean the timer.
- Turn off the garden faucet and remove the timer. Check whether the filter at the timer water inlet has accumulated impurities.
- If the filter is dirty, please take it out of the timer and rinse it with running water.

- Turn on the Manual Watering Mode of the timer to open the valve and check whether the water pipe of the timer is blocked. If it is blocked, please clean it gently with a small cleaning brush.

WARNINGS
- For outdoor use only. Placing the timer in the sheltered outdoors will prolong its lifetime.
- To avoid damage, please tighten it without using tools.
- The filter should be placed horizontally in the water inlet to prevent leakage.
- When low power, please replace the batteries to avoid the interruption of normal operation; when replacing the batteries, please make sure that the battery tray is dry.
- When the timer is not in use, please remove the batteries and store it indoors.
- Don't use the timer under the temperature more than 120℉(50℃), or less than 38℉(3℃).
- Don't subject the product to extreme force and shock.
Severe electrical shock could result if water is sprayed into outlets or sources of electrical current. Never immerse the product in water.
This product is MADE IN CHINA and conforms to the national standards of the United States, Britain, Germany and France. Please use this product correctly. If it needs to be discarded, please properly dispose according to the national requirements. Please protect the environment.
