SECTION 3
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
3.5j Electrical failures
The LEFT ALTR (Row 1, Column 15) and
RIGHT ALTR (Row 1, Column 16) circuit
breakers should not be opened manually when the
alternators are functioning properly.
Tripped circuit breakers should be reset only
if the affected system/component is considered
essential for safety of flight. Prior to resetting
the circuit breaker, wait at least one minute and
verify there is no smoke or "burning smell". If
the circuit breaker opens a second time, leave
the circuit breaker out. Have a maintenance
inspection performed prior to resetting the circuit
breaker. Do not reset any nonessential circuit
breakers in flight.
