HDMI Extender Over Cat5e/6 Cable
with IR and HDMI Loop-Out
The HDEX60 by Vanco extends 1080p high-definition video, audio, IR, and power up to 196ft (60m). Power over
Ethernet (PoE) technology transmits power over Cat5e/6 cabling to either the transmitter or receiver unit without the
need for a power supply.
Connection Diagram
1. Connect a source such as a Blu-Ray player, video game console, receiver, etc. to the HDMI input on the TX unit.
2. Connect a display such as an HDTV or HD projector to the HDMI output on the RX unit.
3. Connect a single Cat5e/6 cable to the UTP output of the TX unit and the other end to the UTP input of the RX unit.
4. OPTIONAL – Connect an HDMI display, AVR, or other component to the HDMI loop-out port on the TX unit.
5. For power, plug in the provided DC 5V power suppy to either the TX or RX unit.
6. Power on each device in the same sequence.
