4. Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover starting from notches located at the top-left corner of the computer base.
5. Lift the base cover off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE:
The following steps are applicable only if you want to further remove any other components from your
computer.
6. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
