5.2.2 PRESSURE REGULATOR ADJUSTMENT
Pressure variation (pressure gauge 1, fig. 10) modifies oil output flowing out the nozzle.
To calibrate the oil range within which the nozzle should operate, adequately adjust the fuel maximum and minimum pressure ac-
cording to the nozzle chart.
- Once the nozzle is installed, remove the servomotor protection cover (12, fig. 1), and start up the burner.
- As soon as it is started, cut off voltage to the servomotor by opening the connector located on the switchboard (19, fig. 1). In this
way the burner operates at minimum flow.
- Release the variable profile cam of the servomotor by pressing the reset button (5, fig. 8).
- Manually make the variable profile cam firmly connected to the eccentric (7, fig. 10) rotate slowly and check the pressure variation
on the pressure gauge (1, fig. 10). Pressure and nozzle delivery are minimum when the servomotor is at 20°. Pressure and nozzle
delivery are maximum when the servomotor is at 130°.
Correct pressure on the return line by varying the eccentric (7, fig. 10) and the nut with the lock nut (5, fig. 10).

To calibrate the eccentric (7):
remove the casing (8), undo the screws (6), operate on the screw (3) until the desired eccentricity is obtained. Turn the screw (3) to
the right (marked +) to increase eccentricity and also the difference between the nozzle maximum and minimum flow. Turn the
screw (3) to the left (marked +) to reduce eccentricity and also the difference between the nozzle maximum and minimum flow.
