INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1
Place the overlay flat on mattress that is already on the bed frame. The inflation tube should be towards
the foot end so that it can be connected to the inflation nozzles on the control unit. Secure the overlay
in place.
Step 2
You may place a thin cotton sheet over the overlay top cover.
Step 3
Hang the control unit over the frame or board at the foot end of the bed using the hooks attached to
the control unit. Make sure the control unit is secured.
Step 4
Connect the inflation tubes from the overlay to the control unit's inflating nozzles. Make sure they are
properly attached.
NOTE!
Make sure the air hoses are not kinked or tucked under the overlay. Also check to ensure the
CPR valves are properly attached.
Step 5
Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet with grounded AC power. This product should be
grounded. The power cord has a grounding wire with a grounding pin.
NOTE!
Before inserting the plug into the outlet, make sure the voltage is compatible. Also make sure
this product is well grounded.
Step 6
Turn on the power by pressing the power switch on the control unit. Proceed to the Operating
Instructions section on page 7.
