NOTE: The CL5200 one-node configuration model was used for the following procedure. Other models
may differ.

Removing a chassis from a rack

WARNING: Due to the weight of the device, two individuals are required to remove a system
from the rack cabinet.
To remove the chassis:
Open the storage nodes, see page
1.
Remove all the 3.5" HDD assemblies (on page 57).
2.
Close the storage node (on page 26).
3.
Disconnect the cabling from the rear side of the system.
4.
Remove the screws securing the rear bracket to the rack.
5.
Remove the rear bracket.
6.
25 before removing the system from the rack cabinet.
