NOTE: The SFP OCP card compute node model was used for the following procedure. Other models
may differ.

Removing the system board

To remove the system board:
Remove the compute node (on page 21).
1.
Remove the air baffle (on page 34).
2.
Remove the memory modules (on page 40).
3.
Remove the heat sinks (on page 36).
4.
Remove the processors (on page 38).
5.
Remove the riser board (on page 42).

Remove the mezzanine card (on page

Disconnect the cabling from the system board.
8.
Remove the screws from the system board.
9.
NOTE: Screws for securing air baffle may be removed during the air baffle removal procedure.
Slide the system board to clear the I/O ports on the board from the chassis.

Remove the system board.
