Installing the memory module

The system board includes sixteen (four memory channels per processor) DIMM slots for the installation
of DDR4 1600/1866/2133/2400 MHz memory.
To install the memory module:
Pull the locking latches of the DIMM slot outward.

Place the memory module into the socket so the notch and obstruction are aligned.

Press the edge connector of the memory module into the slot. Press down firmly so that the locking

latches of the DIMM slot are levered upwards to secure the memory module.
Repeat the procedure for the additional memory modules.

Install the compute node (on page 22).
