Removing and replacing the rack rails

the enclosure during installation and removal.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites
Before you begin, be sure that you have the appropriate screwdriver for the screws in the rack.
Procedure
Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Extend the server from the rack .
3. Disconnect the cabling and remove the server from the rack. For more information, see the documentation that ships with the rack
mounting option.
4. Place the server on a sturdy, level surface.
NOTE:
NOTE:
When removing the rail from the rack, always remove the front of the rail first.
5. Open the latch and remove the screws from the front of the rail.
6. Open the latch and remove the screws from the rear of the rail.
