Checking the BMC version using the web GUI

Log into the web GUI.

Click Maintenance, then Firmware Information to enter Firmware Information page, as shown in

Checking expander version using Linux/ Ubuntu

The methods to check expander FW on Linux, incluing RHEL and ubuntu based, are the same . Now take
the method to check FW v004 for an example to illustrate the steps.
To check the expander firmware version using Linux:
Log into Linux system.

Install the sg3_utils package as mentioned before.

Execute the following command to check the FW version and obtain expander device ID.
