The GB731SHV5-LB68 is a pneumatic-hydraulic installation tool designed specifically for the efficient installation of lockbolt and blind fasteners.
This tool's unique "split" system provides the operator with a lightweight ergonomic tool. The head assembly when held in hand weighs 2 1/4 lbs.
(1.02 kg). The entire installation tool weighs 10 1/2 lbs. (4.76 kg). It has a .600" (15.24 mm) fastener setting stroke.
The GB731SHV5-LB68 installation tool operates on 90 to 100 psi (6.2-6.9 bar) of air pressure, providing the maximum efficiency. At 90 psi. (6.2 bar)
of air pressure, the GB731SHV5-LB68 does not exceed 81.5 dB(A) and consumes .16 SCF/cycle (4.53 L/cycle).
The air inlet is provided with 1/4 - 18 female pipe thread for accepting the user's air hose fitting.
The GB731SHV5-LB68 comes with 5 feet (1.5 m) of hose. Pull pressure varies with different length hoses. When ordering specify the shortest length
hose possible for your application this will provide optimum pull pressure. For example if your application only requires 8 feet (2.4 m) of hose order
installation tool GB731SHV8-LB68. Please consult our engineering department for specific applications.
