BIOS maintenance

This section provides information about upgrading the BIOS, clearing the BIOS password, clearing
CMOS, BIOS recovery, and a BIOS jumper description.
Upgrading the BIOS using DOS
The flash memory update utility loads a fresh copy of the BIOS into flash ROM. This utility only updates the
BIOS region.
BIOS update utility: AFUDOS.EXE
Boot the system to DOS environment and execute the following command to update BIOS:
AFUDOS <File Name>[Option 1][Option 2]
or
AFUDOS <Input or Output File Name><Command>


Save current ROM image to file

Verification test of given ROM File without flashing BIOS.

Program ME Entire Firmware Block, which supports Production.BIN and
Silent execution
Don't Check ROM ID
Compare ROM file's data with Systems is different or not, if not then cancel related
Display current system's ROMID
Don't check AC adapter and battery
Save specific ROM Hole according to RomHole GUID.
Preserve Setup setting.
Preserve ALL SMBIOS structure during programming
Preserve SMBIOS type N during programmi1ng (n=0-255)
