REMOVAL
Engine removal is required for this procedure.
•• To avoid damaging the cylinder head, wait until the engine coolant temperature drops below normal
temperature before removing it.
•• When handling a metal gasket, take care not to fold the gasket or damage the contact surface of the
gasket.
•• Turn the crankshaft pulley so that the No. 1 piston is at top dead center.
1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Remove the timing chain.
3. Remove the intake and exhaust manifold.
4. Remove the delivery pipe(A).
5. Remove the glow plug(A).
