HANDLING BATTERIES
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period,
remove the batteries .
If the batteries have leaked, use protective gloves . Clean the
battery compartment and the battery contacts with a dry cloth .
Keep batteries out of the reach of children . Children might
put batteries into their mouth and swallow them . If a battery is
swallowed, medical assistance must be sought immediately .

Preparation

Unscrew the battery compartment cap 5 .
1) Insert the batteries as per the polarity diagram
in the battery compartment .
2) Screw the battery compartment cap 5 back
on .
3) Select a sticker and stick it on the front of the
appliance .
4) Before initial use, clean the new brush heads 1
with fresh water .

Fitting/removing brush heads

Push a brush head 1 onto the hand element 4
with a slight twisting motion .
To remove the brush head 1, turn it a little
anticlockwise while pulling it upwards and off .
NOTE
To avoid damage to the appliance, always use
original brush heads .

Brushing teeth

This appliance is not intended for
children under 3 years of age .
WARNING!
Due to the unaccustomed effect of the tooth-
brush, there may be some initial gum bleeding .
This is normal . If this continues for more than
two weeks, you should consult your dentist .
1) Place the brush head 1 onto the drive shaft
on the handset 4 .
2) Moisten the brush under flowing water .
3) Put a little toothpaste onto the wet brush .
NOTE
To avoid spray, do not switch on the appliance
until it is in your mouth
4) Turn the sandglass 6 over and press the on
switch 2 .
