Machine Controls and Indicators
System Distress
The light indicates that the JLG Control System has detected an abnormal condition and a Diagnostic
Trouble Code has been set in the system memory. Refer to the Service Manual for instructions
concerning the trouble codes and trouble code retrieval.
The system distress indicator light will illuminate for 2-3 seconds when the key is positioned to the
ON position to act as a self test.
Wire Rope Service
When illuminated, the light indicates the wire ropes are loose or broken and must be repaired or
adjusted prior to use.
