Removing the rear wheel

Mount and tighten screw
Guideline
Screw, front wheel spindle
Activate the hand brake lever multiple times until the brake linings are in contact with
the brake disc.
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (
Pull the front brake and compress the fork powerfully a few times.
The fork legs straighten.

Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
Main work
(FC 250 EU)
Press the brake caliper onto the brake disc by hand in order to push back the
brake piston.
Remove nut
Remove chain adjuster
rear wheel to be pushed forward.
Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible. Remove the chain from the rear
sprocket.
Holding the rear wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle. Take the rear wheel out of
the swingarm.

Do not operate the foot brake when the rear wheel is removed.
Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the brake disc is not dam-
aged.
