Stopping The Engine; Emergency Engine Stop - TOHATSU BFT 150D Owner's Manual

After stopping the engine, be sure
to turn OFF the ignition switch
before turning OFF the battery
switch. If the battery switch is
turned OFF while the ignition
switch is ON, the buzzer will sound
three times briefly.

Emergency Engine Stop

(R1 type)

Pull the lanyard of the emergency
stop switch and remove the
emergency stop switch clip from the
switch; this will stop the engine.
It is a good idea to stop the engine
with the emergency stop switch
lanyard from time to time to be sure
that the emergency stop switch is
operating properly.
