7.2 MAS EtherCAT configuration of the DDLS 538 ... S2 ...
With the MAS EtherCAT configuration, the user defines the position at which the DDLS 538 ... S2 ... is in-
stalled:
• Installation on the side facing the master (master side)
• Installation on the side facing the slave (slave side)
NOTICE
Information for activating the MAS EtherCAT configuration see chapter 6.1 "Setting the operat-
ing mode".
Master-side installation
For devices installed on the master side, the MAS EtherCAT configuration must be activated. The MAS
LED of the device illuminates continuously green.
