About this Guide
This guide provides information about using the LEX series Mission Critical Handheld and accessories.
NOTICE:
Screens and menu options may be changed or customized by your agency to show different
information.
The LEX L10i Mission Critical Handheld User Guide is also available on the LEX device via
Motorola TechDocs application. If you do not see this user guide in Motorola TechDocs, contact
your device technician or device administrator.

Versions

This guide covers various software configurations and references are made to operating system or
software versions discussed in the following three subsections.

Operating System Version

The Operating System for the LEX device is the Android Operating System.
To determine the Operating System version, from the Home screen touch
→ Android Version. The last line provides the Android version information. For example: 4.4.4.

Software Build Number

This topic has information on how to find the software build number of your LEX device.
To determine the software build number, from the Home screen, touch
Build Number.

Kernel Version

The Kernel version can be found in the Settings application.
To determine the kernel version, from the Home screen, touch
version.
