Enabling Emergency Mode

Emergency Mode indicates a critical situation. The emergency alert signal overrides any other
communication over the selected channel of the radio.
Prerequisites: If your device supports both PSX PTT application and the LEX device is paired to a
Land Mobile Radio (LMR), you must set the Push-to-Talk setting in the PSX Cockpit application to the
preferred PTT setting. The Power button can only support one emergency application at a time.
When and where to use: Follow this procedure to enable Emergency Mode with the LEX device.
Procedure:
Select the method you want to use to initiate emergency mode on your device, and perform one
of the following actions:

If you want to make an Emergency call
using the power button (soft button
press),
If you want to make an Emergency call
using the power button (hard button
press),

Complete the following actions:
a Press and hold the Power button until
the Power button menu appears.
b Tap Emergency Mode.
After 3 seconds, Emergency Mode is ena-
bled.
Complete the following actions:
a Press and hold the Power for three sec-
onds.
Vibrations occur at each second, with a long
vibration when emergency is initiated from
the long press.
