3 If you want to further protect your device by requiring your PIN or password before it starts up,
select one of the following:
Require PIN to start device.
Require password to start device.
4 Tap Continue.
5 Enter a PIN or password and tap Continue.
6 Enter the PIN or password again and tap OK.
7 From the Notifications screen, select how you want your notifications to show:
Show all notification content.
Hide sensitive notification content.
Don't show notifications at all.
The Security screen is re-displayed.
A PIN or password must be entered to unlock the device.

Setting Timeout for Locking

User may specify the timeout for device locking. After the set amount of time, the device locks.
Prerequisites: Screen lock must be set to Pattern, PIN, or Password.
Procedure:
1 Tap

2 Tap
.
3 Tap Security.
4 Tap Automatically lock.
A list of timeout values is displayed.
5 Select a timeout value from the list.
6 The Security screen is re-displayed.

Device Unlock

When the LEX device is not used for a period of time and the user tries to access the device, the Lock
screen displays.
Depending on which Screen lock option is active, the user does one of the following:
Nothing.
Swipe the screen.
Enter a pattern, PIN, or password.
