Configuring and setting up the barcode reader

All MD-34A equipped with Barcode Readers are pre-initialized before shipping. You do not
need to initiate it the first time you use it, just as the OS recovery is done. If the barcode
reader does not work for some reason, follow the instructions below.
Note
The optional 2D/1D barcode reader is integrated in the tablet and cannot be retrofitted. In
order to use the reading function, ensure that your device has an integrated barcode reader
prior to use.

Function
The captured images and videos are saved in the C:\Users\User's name\Pictures
directory.
Note: User's Name is the local name created or assigned by your system administrator.
Press this icon to take a photograph.
Press this icon to start a video recording. Press again to stop the recording.
Turns on the LED for taking a photograph. Use the flash when there is too little ambient light.
Caution
This function may emit harmful optical radiation. Do not use the flash too close to people.
There is risk of eye damage.
