8. Open the processing program that receives the data scanned by the wireless Bluetooth
barcode reader.
9. Configure the program in such a way that it accepts the same COM port that was assigned
for the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile in step 6.
NOTICE
Do not close the processing program
Make sure that the program remains open during the coupling operation.
The tablet is now ready to start the coupling operation.
Connecting the tablet and barcode reader
Once you have set up the barcode reader and the tablet, start the coupling as follows:
1. Execute scans. A Bluetooth notification window is displayed on the right side of the desktop.
Open the "Add a Bluetooth Device" menu.
2. Open the shortcut menu of the "Bluetooth" icon
entry "Add a Bluetooth Device". The "Add a device" dialog opens.
3. Press "Next" to connect the barcode reader to the tablet.
To verify that the Bluetooth device was successfully connected to the tablet, perform the
following steps:
