Selecting the Stitch Plate in the User Interface

After changing the stitch plate, you can check whether it can be used with the selected needle.
> Tap «Stitch Plate/Needle Selection».
> Select the previously fitted stitch plate.
If the selected stitch plate is suitable to be used in combination with the needle, sewing can begin.
If the selected stitch plate is not suitable to be used in combination with the needle, an error message
is displayed and the machine is automatically prevented from starting.

Threading the Upper Thread

Preparing for Threading
> Place the foam pad on the spool pin.
> Place the thread spool on the spool pin so that the thread unwinds clockwise.
> Attach the appropriate spool cap.
> Switch on the machine and wait until it starts up.
> Raise the needle and presser foot.
Guiding the Thread to the Needle
> Hold the thread with one hand between the thread spool and rear thread guide (1). Use the other hand
to hold the thread at the end and, during the subsequent steps, always keep it under light tension.
> Guide the thread in direction of the arrow through the thread tension (2).
