3. EXPLOTATION OF THE MACHINE
Some parts of the trimmer are disassembled to reduce the volume of the packaging during
transportation.
Attention!!! Never use the machine without first inserting the guard
Remove the battery before any manipulation or cleaning of the machine (fig.B).
• Always release the on/off button before inserting or removing the battery.
• To remove the battery, press the button on the end of the battery, then remove it from the tool.
• To insert the battery, slide the two grooves on either side of the battery into the groove of the
housing and slide it into place. Always slide until it clicks into place. Failure to do so may cause
the tool to accidentally fall off and cause injury to you or someone around you.
Do not use force when inserting the battery. If the battery does not slide easily, it means that it is
not inserted correctly.
Starting the battery hair:
If the hair is used for the first time, check that the cord touches or goes past the safety cover.
The cord should automatically cut when it is at maximum slack (outside the safety cover). To
achieve the required cord length, hold the button as shown (Fig. C).
4. Maintenance and storage
4.1. After use, remove the battery from the trimmer and check for damage;
4.2. When not in use, keep the machine out of reach of children;
4.3. Use only RAIDER spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer;
After the machine is turned off, the blade continues to spin for a while! Before starting to work on
the trimmer, wait for the rotation of the electric motor and the blade to stop completely!
Never try to stop the blade from rotating!
When you have to carry out activities near the knife, always work with safety gloves!
Perform maintenance procedures regularly to ensure long-term and reliable use of the trimmer.
Check periodically for noticeable defects such as a loose or damaged blade and loose screw
connections. Make sure that the covers and safety devices are in working order and installed
correctly.
