11. The Radio is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any type of separate remote
control system.
12. Do not expose the Radio to microwaves.
13. Do not place the Radio's speaker too close to ears. Damage may occur to ear drums, especially in young
children.
Handing and Usage
1. This Radio is intended to be used indoors, for household use only and should not be used for any
commercial purposes. If using outdoors, please ensure that it is brought inside after use.
2. Do not expose the Radio to excessive heat, direct sunlight, open flames, or any other heat sources.
3. Never operate the Radio with wet hands, submerge under water or spill liquids into or onto the device.
4. Before cleaning, servicing, maintenance or moving the device please ensure the Radio is switched off and
disconnected from the USB charging power source. Never use liquid or abrasive cleaners on the Radio, for
more detailed instructions on how to clean the Radio please see Cleaning and Maintenance on page 29
of this manual.
5. Do not place or store the Radio near a hot burner (gas or electric), heat sources or near naked flame
sources (such as candles, stoves, or BBQ's).
6. Always position and operate the Radio on a dry, flat and stable surface. Operating on sinks or uneven
surfaces should be avoided.
7. Do not use the Radio for anything other than its intended use.
8. Do not use the Radio if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
9. Do not cover the Radio whilst in use.
10. The internal battery is not replaceable, do not attempt to replace it.
CAUTION! Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can
result in an explosion.
CAUTION! Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment can result in an
explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
CAUTION! A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of
flammable liquid or gas.
WARNING: A battery can only be subjected to 0˚C to 45˚C during usage, storage or transportation.
