4. Choose between 'Strong Stations' and 'All Stations' and short press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
'Strong Stations' will allow the Radio to only search for stations with a strong signal strength during auto scan.
'All Stations' will allow the Radio to search for all stations (strong or weak strength) during auto scan.
5. After you have selected the type of auto scan you want to carry out, refer to the instructions on page 20, to
carry out the auto scan.
Bluetooth
Mode
®
The Radio features a Bluetooth
devices such as smartphones and MP3 players. It also enables you to control tracks and volume directly from your
Bluetooth
enabled device. To pair the Radio with a compatible Bluetooth
®
1. Short press the MODE button to cycle through the audio modes until 'BT' Bluetooth® displays on the LCD
display screen.
NOTE: 'BT Disconnected' will display on the LCD display screen if no BT enabled device is connected.
2. On your Bluetooth® enabled device, activate (or turn ON) the Bluetooth® function, and search for nearby
devices. When the device discovers 'EA2327', select and connect to 'EA2327'. This process should take a
few seconds to connect – no PIN or passcode will be required.
3. Once the Radio and the Bluetooth® enabled device have connected, the LCD display screen will display 'BT
Connected', and the Bluetooth® enabled device should also display 'EA2327' as 'Connected'.
4. Open your Bluetooth® enabled device such as a smartphone or MP3 player to stream the desired audio
through the Radio's inbuilt speaker or headphones (not supplied) connected to the headphone output at
the back of the Radio.
IMPORTANT: If the LCD display screen displays 'BT Connected', this means that the last connected device
is within the Bluetooth® reception range of the Radio. You will not be able to pair a new device until the
previously connected device has been disconnected. You will need to turn off the Bluetooth® connection
on the last connected device in order to connect to a new device. Please see the instructions on page 23
for how to disconnect a 'BT Connected' device.
