NOTE: New stations found by manual tuning are stored in the DAB+ station list.
NOTE: Before following steps below, ensure the channel number or frequency band of the station you want
to manually tune is on hand.
1. While in DAB+ mode, long press the MENU button till you see 'Menu <Scan>' displayed on the LCD display screen.
NOTE: If 'Menu <Scan>' doesn't appear straight away in the Menu, short press the TUNE + or TUNE -
button until it is visible on the LCD display screen.
2. Next, short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle through the menu options.
3. Once 'Manual Tune' displays on the LCD display screen, short press the ENTER button.
4. Once you have entered the manual tune menu, short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle through
the available channel numbers with corresponding frequencies. The channel number is displayed on left
of the screen and the channel frequency is displayed on the right.
5. Once you have reached the channel number or frequency for the station you want to manually tune in,
short press the ENTER button.
6. The channel number and frequency will move to the top row of the screen, and you will notice a series of small
squares displayed in the bottom row of the screen. These squares depict the signal strength of the channel.
7. Wait for a few seconds for majority of the squares to turn solid. This means that you have good signal
strength, and you can proceed with adding all stations that are presently broadcasting on that channel
manually to your DAB+ station list.
NOTE: If few or none of the squares turn solid, it means that you have poor to no signal strength on that
channel. You cannot manually tune in multiple stations that are all broadcasting on the same channel
frequency to your DAB+ station list. To search for stations on other channels short press the MENU button
and follow step 4 and beyond till you come across a channel with good signal strength.
8. If the channel has good signal strength, then short press the ENTER button. Stations that are presently
broadcasting on that channel will now be added to DAB+ station list.
9. Next, short press the MENU button a couple of times till you go back to DAB+ menu.
NOTE: DAB+ stations are saved in alphabetical order in the DAB+ station list. Manually tuned stations will
also slot into the list so that the alphabetical order is maintained. After step 9, you will return to the station
that is at the top of the DAB+ station list. To search/play the station that has been manually tuned in,
follow step 4 in previous section (see page 18).
Saving DAB+ Stations in the Memory
1. In DAB+ mode, short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle through the available DAB+ stations.
2. Once you have located the station you wish to save as a preset, long press the PRESET button till you see
'Preset Store' displayed on the LCD display screen.
