6. Short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle between the sleep time options: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90
minutes and Sleep Off. Short press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
7. Short press the MENU button (multiple times if required) to return to the current audio source.
NOTE: For your convenience, sleep time options 75 minutes and 90 minutes are often displayed as 1 hour
15 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes respectively.

EQ (Equalizer) Preset Set Up

EQ (Equalization) is basic form of audio processing that will allow you to adjust volume level of single
frequency or frequency ranges of the Radio audio source. This function can be handy when listening to a
certain genre of music to give a richer experience. However, the best universal equalizer setting is one that is
turned off or one that is set to 'flat'.
1. Enter the standby mode by following the instructions in section 'Power On-Off / Standby Mode' of the
instruction manual (page 10).
NOTE: Please ensure you are in standby mode BEFORE you follow the instructions below. If not, the
instructions below will not be valid.
2. Once in standby mode, long press the MENU button till 'Menu <System>' displays on LCD display screen.
3. Short press the ENTER button to access the 'System' menu.
4. Short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle through the 'System' menu options.
5. Once 'EQ' displays on the LCD display screen, short press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
6. Short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle between the equalizer options: Normal, Classic, Pop,
Jazz, Rock, Flat, Movie and News. Short press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
7. Short press the MENU button (multiple times if required) to return to the current audio source.

Language Set Up

The Radio supports different on-screen display languages for your convenience. The default language is set to
English. To set the desired language follow the steps below.
1. Enter the standby mode by following the instructions in section 'Power On-Off / Standby Mode' of the
instruction manual (page 10).
NOTE: Please ensure you are in standby mode BEFORE you follow the instructions below. If not, the
instructions below will not be valid.
2. Once in standby mode, long press the MENU button till 'Menu <System>' displays on LCD display screen.
3. Short press the ENTER button to access the 'System' menu.
4. Short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle through the 'System' menu options.
5. Once 'Language' displays on the LCD display screen, short press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
6. Short press the TUNE + or TUNE - button to cycle between the language options: English, German (Deutsch),
