Equipment Lists
The OCM system components are shipped in shock-absorbent packing within a corrugated box.
Table 1-1 lists the standard equipment. Table 1-2 lists commonly used cables, adapters and
accessories. Some components will not be required/supplied for your network installation. Remove
each component from the box and perform a thorough inspection. If any component appears
damaged, contact the shipper immediately. All damaged components must be retained until an
inspection by the shipper has been completed. If necessary to re-package and return the unit, use the
original box and packing material. Technical specifications for all modules are provided later in this
chapter.
Note
A typical OCM node has common modules, a variety of voice/channel modules, and may have one or two
expansion shelves. Actual configuration depends on network topology and application requirements.

If your OCM is part of a TMS-3000 system, refer to the TMS-3000 Technical Overview
(036R304-000) and the TMS-3000 Installation and Operation manual (GDC 036R303-000) as needed.
Note
Cable part number suffix indicates the cable length, e.g., -005 indicates 5-ft length.
Cable length XXX indicates the cable is available in multiple lengths as described.
