3.2 Feature description

The leak-tightness and functional integrity of various
breathing safety products can be tested with the test
units. The Dräger Quaestor 4000/6000 is a semi-
automatic test unit, the Dräger Quaestor 8000 is fully
automatic.
An artificial lung enables breathing simulation during
breathing tests on the Dräger Quaestor 6000 and 8000
only. Tests requiring an artificial lung are marked with
"Q6/8 only".
The test units are operated via a PC. The software
included with the device guides the user through the
test steps and logs the test results. The test results can
be saved and printed. Test date monitoring ensures that
the inspection intervals are observed.
The following accessories are included with the Dräger
Quaestor 8000:
– External microphone
The microphone registers the signal of the acoustic
warning whistle when inspecting a self-contained
open-circuit breathing apparatus or closed-circuit
breathing apparatus.
– Bracket for pressure gauge or Bodyguard
The bracket is available as an option for the Dräger
Quaestor 4000/6000.
