Dräger X-act 7000 Coupler Manual

The safety-related information and conventions in the instructions for use for the Dräger X-act^® 7000 also apply to the Dräger X-act 7000 coupler.

Before using the product, carefully read these and all associated instructions for use for the X-am pump and the X-act 7000.

Intended use

The coupler is the connecting piece between the X-act 7000 and the X-am pump for remote or sensor measurement. With it, a secure and tight connection of both devices can be established.

Operation

Preparation for operation

Check that all device surfaces are clean. Remove any contamination.
Put the coupler on the X-act 7000.
Tighten both screws.
Put the X-am pump on the coupler and fasten it.
If necessary, attach a hose for remote or sensor measurements to the X-am pump.

Measuring

Refer to the corresponding instructions for use for the X-act 7000.

Switch on the X-act 7000.
Insert the selected Dräger MicroTubes.
Activate the pump: Select pump operation via the menu.
The pump test is started automatically.

Performing the pump test

Follow the instructions on the display, confirm each step performed and wait for the next instruction.
The pump test is completed.
Check the battery status of the pump in the display: 0% / 100% .

Starting the flushing time

Activate the flushing time counter: .
Start the measurement after the selected flushing time has elapsed: .

Cleaning

Wipe all product surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Make sure that no liquids get into the device openings.

Storage

Detach all components from one another and store them.
Store the coupler protected against moisture and sunlight.

Disposal

Dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulations.
