Installing a 2.5" storage device to the rear bay

1. Press the spring lock then
pull the tray lever outward to
release the storage device
tray. The storage device tray
ejects slightly after you pull
out the lever.
2. Firmly hold the tray lever and
pull the storage device tray
out of the bay.
3. Place the 2.5" storage device
into the storage device tray
and make sure it is seated
firmly in the storage device
tray.
4. Push the storage device tray
and storage device assembly
all the way into the depth
of the rear storage bay until
the tray lever and spring
lock clicks and secures the
storage device tray in place.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to install the other SATA/SAS/NVMe storage devices.

When installed, the SATA/SAS/NVMe connector on the storage device connects to the
SATA/SAS/NVMe interface on the backplane.
The storage device tray is correctly placed when its front edge aligns with the bay
edge.
