Symptoms
Cooling fan continues
to run after oven is
turned off.
Oven will not start
Pyrolysis.
Oven door does not
open after a Pyrolysis
cycle.
The oven is not clean
after a Pyrolysis cycle.
Convection fan stops.
Oven racks are difficult
to slide.

Noises

Symptoms
"Crackling" or
"popping" sound
The fan turns off automatically when the electronic components have
cooled sufficiently.
• This is normal.
The oven temperature is too high to set a Pyrolysis operation.
• Allow the appliance to cool and reset the controls.
Oven controls improperly set.
• See the Pyrolysis section.
A pyrolysis cycle cannot be started if the oven door is open.
• Close the oven door.
Oven is too hot.
• Allow the oven to cool below locking temperature.
The control and door may be locked.
• Allow about one hour for the oven to cool after the completion of a
Pyrolysis cycle. The door can be opened when the lock
displayed during Pyrolysis cycle.
The Control Lock is activated.
• Press the Control Lock button for 3 seconds to reset the function.
Oven controls not properly set.
• See the Pyrolysis section.
Oven was heavily soiled.
• Clean up heavy spillovers before starting the clean cycle. Heavily soiled
ovens may need to do Pyrolysis again or for a longer period of time.
Convection fan stops during a convection bake cycle. It is done to allow
more even heating during the cycle.
• This is not a failure of the range and should be considered normal
operation.
The shiny, silver-colored racks were cleaned.
• Apply a small amount of vegetable oil to a paper towel and wipe the edges
of the oven racks with the paper towel.
This is the sound of the metal heating and cooling during both the
cooking and Pyrolysis functions.
• This is normal.
