5.0 Functions
TIME:
Counting Up: The computer counts up from 00:00
to 99:59 during training.
Counting Down: The computer counts down from the preset Time
to 00:00
RPM:
Displays current training revolutions per minute.
SPEED:
Displays the current SPEED from 0.0 to maximum
99.9 km (or miles) per hour. ** The display will
alternate between RPM and SPEED every 6
seconds during training.
DISTANCE:
Counting Up: The computer accumulates the
total workout distance from 0.00 to max. 99.90
km or mi. during training.
Counting Down: The computer counts down from the set value
to 0.00.
CALORIES:
Counting Up: The computer accumulates the
calorie consumption from 0 to max. 990 cal
during training.
Counting Down: The computer counts down from
the set value to 0. This data serves only as a rough
guide for comparing different exercise sessions
and cannot be used for medical treatment.
PULSE:
The computer has an integrated heart rate receiver
that can measure the pulse by different means:
chest belt (priority), hand pulse or ear clip. If you
wear the chest transmitter belt, the monitor will
6
display your chest pulse. If you would like a
hand pulse readout, do not wear the chest belt.
During the measurement period, hold the handgrip
sensors with both hands for a more precise heart
rate reading. The heart rate reading display
range is from 0 to 240 BPM. You may set a target
pulse under manual mode, 6 profiles mode or user
mode to assist your training, or select a fixed target
percentage for training with.
Alarm:
If you set a target pulse in Manual training mode
or another target, the computer will sound an
alarm to alert you as soon as your current heart
rate reaches the set value.
RECOVERY: If after exercising for a period of time you keep
holding onto the handgrip sensor or wearing
the chest belt and press the "RECOVERY button,
all function displays will stop except for "Time".
Time starts counting down from 00:60 - 00:59
- 00:58 - all the way to 00:00. As soon as 00:00
is reached, the bottom area of the LCD will show
your heart rate recovery status as a grade of F1,
F2, F3, F4, F5 or F6. F1 is the best, and F6 is
the worst. Keep exercising to improve your heart
recovery status day by day from F6 to F1.
** Press the RECOVERY button again to return to main display.
