Air Shrouds
Air shrouds concentrate airflow to maximize fan efficiency. The SSG-6029P-E1CR12H/L/T
air shrouds do not require screws for installation.
Installing the Main Air Shroud
Begin by removing power from the system as described in Section 3.1.
1. Lay the chassis on a flat, stable surface and remove the chassis cover as described in
Section 3.2.
2. Ensure that the serverboard, CPUs, heatsink, and memory are all properly installed.
3. If necessary, move any cables that interfere with the air shroud placement.
4. Place the air shroud in the chassis. The air shroud fits just behind the two fans closest
to the power supply. Slide the air shroud into the grooves just behind the fan rack.
5. If necessary, the perforated tabs on either side of the air shroud may be removed to
ensure a proper fit.
