Motherboard Connections
This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Note that depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The
LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A serverboard layout indicating component
locations may be found in Chapter 1.
Please review the Safety Precautions in Appendix B before installing or removing components.
4.1 Power Connections
Two power connections on the X11DPH-T must be connected to the power supply. The wiring
is included with the power supply.

24-pin Primary ATX Power (JPWR3)
•
8-pin Processor Power (JPWR1, JPWR2, JPWR4)
Main ATX Power Connector
The primary power connector (JPWR3) meets the ATX SSI EPS 24-pin specification. You must
also connect the 8-pin (JPWR2) power connectors to your power supply (see next page).
Important: To provide adequate power to the motherboard, connect the 24-pin and the 8-pin
power connectors to the power supply. Failure to do so may void the manufacturer's warranty
on your power supply and motherboard.
