KM400 Series Combi-Sets
5.5 Ignition Electrode - Removal (KM404/KM406)
1. Perform the "Combi-Set – Removal for Service" Procedure
(5.1).
2. Perform the "Service Access" Procedure (5.2).
3. Remove the Electrode Retaining Spring.
4. Remove the Ignition Electrode from the base of the burner.
5. Disconnect the ignition electrode connections.

Thermocouple - Removal

1. Perform the "Combi-Set – Removal for Service" Procedure
(5.1).
2. Perform the "Service Access" Procedure (5.2).
3. Pull off the Thermocouple Retaining Spring at the burner.
4. Remove the Thermocouple from the base of the burner.
5. Unscrew the Thermocouple connection from the Gas Regulator.
Note
For proper operation, the Thermocouple must be completely
secured at the burner and the gas regulator. The capillary tube
should be routed so it does not make contact with other
components or the frame of the appliance.
