Intended use
AQA stop helps protect against water damage from
unintended water leakage or spillage.
AQA stop is a mains-powered shut-off valve that
automatically closes when the floor sensor gets wet.
The device is not suitable for monitoring permeate
or rainwater tanks.
The water must be electrically conductive to set
off the alarm.

Function
An operation display indicates that the power supply
is present.
If the sensor makes contact with water, the AQA
stop shuts off the water supply immediately. Simul-
taneously a buzzer sounds to call attention to the
damage. This minimises any water damage that
may occur due to burst pipes or ruptured lines.
An automatic switch-off briefly closes and opens
the valve three times per day to prevent limescale
from forming in the valve.
