3.4 Instrument Base / Cross Stage

3.4.1 Brake Cap

Precondition:
 The measurement head covers have been
removed. See section 3.2.1, page
Procedure:
1) Using a fingernail or small slotted screwdriver
remove the small plastic cap from the
measurement head brake cap.
2) Loosen the screw underneath using a slotted
screwdriver.
3) Remove the brake cap.
Reassembly:
1) Reassemble in the reverse order.

3.4.2 Cross Stage Covers

Precondition:
 The measurement head covers have been removed.
 The brake cap has been removed.
Procedure:
1) Position measurement head towards
operator side. Remove the six screws
(Torx 15) on the patient side cross stage
cover and remove cover.
2) Using joystick, raise measurement head to
highest position (clockwise). Remove the
operator side cross stage cover.
Reassembly:
1) Reassemble in the reverse order.
