1.2.1 General Notes This manual is the field service reference for troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, and calibration of the ZEISS EXTARO 300. The manual is intended for use by field service engineers who have completed specific service training on the ZEISS EXTARO 300.
Service bulletins are confidential and proprietary documents for the sole use of personnel employed by ZEISS. As a ZEISS employee, subsidiary or distributor you are required to handle your service bulletins as appropriate for proprietary and confidential information. Service Manual...
General Information 1.4 Service Strategy The service strategy for the ZEISS EXTARO 300 stipulates that only a limited scope of work may be performed in field service. This scope is appropriately marked in this service manual and is dealt with in detail during the service training for this product.

Adjustment and Calibration ZEISS EXTARO 300 4.2.3 Adjust the limit switch 1) Remove suspension arm upper cover (Section 1) Loosen screws (1) and adjust the limit switch. It should be activated 30-40 mm before the topmost position. Tighten screws (1).

ZEISS EXTARO 300 on Floor Stand Installation Unpacking the instrument 1) Open the package. 2) Remove suspension arm, carrier arm, OPMI and base cover. Fig. 1: Unpacking the instrument 3) Remove the packaging sleeve. 4) Remove the column. 5) Unscrew stand base from the packaging floor.

The relevant ESD protection measures have to be observed when working on electrical components. Fasten cable ties and additional components after dismantling. The ZEISS EXTARO 300 wall mount must only be mounted by authorized service staff. If needed, the wall adaptor (pre-installation set) must have been mounted by a construction specialist prior to installation.
