*1 Inspect HSG belt for evidence of cuts, cracks, excessive wear or oil saturation and replace if necessary. If HSG
belt noise occurs, check whether the belt and pulley are contaminated before replacement.
*2 Check the engine oil level and leak every 500 km (350 mi.) or before starting a long trip.
*3 The engine oil level should be checked regularly and maintained properly. Operating with an insufficient
amount of oil can damage the engine, and such damage is not covered by warranty.
*4 Never add any additives to the engine oil. Engine oil additives can change the properties of engine oil and may
cause serious engine failure.
*5 Middle East includes India, Iran, Libya, Algeria, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.
*6 Central & South America includes Brazil, etc.
*7 If good quality gasolines meet Europe Fuel standards (EN228) or equivalents including fuel additives is not
available, one bottle of additive is recommended. Additives are available from your authorized HYUNDAI dealer
along with information on how to use them. Do not mix other additives.
