NOTICE
• Always keep the front view camera in
good condition to maintain optimal
performance of High Beam Assist.
• For more information on the
precautions of the front view camera,
refer to the "Forward
Collision-Avoidance assist (FCA) (Front
view camera only)" section in chapter 7.

High Beam Assist settings

With the Engine Start/Stop button in the
ON position, select Vehicle>Lights > HBA
(High Beam Assist) from the Settings
menu to turn on High Beam Assist and
deselect to turn off the function.
WARNING
For your safety, change the Settings after
parking the vehicle at a safe location.

High Beam Assist operation

Display and control
• After selecting High Beam Assist from
the Settings menu to operate High
Beam Assist:
- Place the headlight switch in the
AUTO position and push the
headlight lever towards the
instrument cluster. The High Beam
Assist ( ) indicator light illuminates.
- When High Beam Assist is enabled,
high beams turn on when the vehicle
speed is above 30 km/h (18 mph) and
the High Beam (
illuminates. When the vehicle speed
is below 20 km/h (12 mph), high
beams do not turn on and the
indicator light illuminates in white.
• When High Beam Assist is operating:
- If the turn signal lever is pulled
toward you when the high beams are
off, the high beams turn on. When
you let go of the turn signal lever,
High Beam Assist operates again.
- If the turn signal lever is pulled
toward you when the high beams are
on by High Beam Assist, the low
beams turn on and High Beam Assist
turns off.
- If the turn signal lever is pushed away
from you, the high beams turn on and
High Beam Assist turns off.
- If the headlight switch is moved from
AUTO to another position
(headlight/position/off(O)), the
corresponding light turns on and
High Beam Assist turns off.
