Using the search func-
tion
The keyboard can be used
to search for contacts,
music, locations, and vehi-
cle settings. If using the
Intelligent Assistant, desti-
nation search that takes
advantage of content in the
cloud can be performed.

Touch [ ].

Touch the desired domain to
search.
[Navigation]: Searches by the
address, intersection, Points of
Interest, telephone number, street
name, etc.
[Media]: Searches by artist name,
song title, album name, station
name, genre, etc.
[Phone]: Searches by contact name
or phone number.
[Vehicle]: Searches by entering the
items you want to set, such as trip
information, other vehicle informa-
tion, etc.
[Settings]: Searches by entering the
items you want to set, such as gen-
eral, date & time, language & units,
notifications.

Enter the search text and
touch [Go].
 If multiple conditions need to
be specified, search by insert-
ing a space between words.

When the list of search
results is displayed, touch the
desired item.
● Operation of the screen is
restricted when the vehicle is
moving exceeds about 5 mph (8
km/h).
● Keyboard search is not available
when Apple CarPlay and Android
Auto screens are active.
