8-1. Rear view monitor system


Vehicle width guide line
A
Displays a guide path when the vehicle is being backed straight up.
• The displayed width is wider than the actual vehicle width.
Vehicle center guide line
B
This line indicates the estimated vehicle center on the ground.
Distance guide line
C
Shows distance behind the vehicle.
• Displays a point approximately 1.5 ft. (0.5 m) (red) from the edge of the
bumper.
Distance guide line
D
Shows distance behind the vehicle.
• Displays a point approximately 3 ft. (1 m) (blue) from the edge of the
bumper.
Intuitive parking assist
E
Displays an indicator on the screen and sounds a buzzer when an object is
detected by a sensor. (For details about the intuitive parking assist, see the
separate "OWNER'S MANUAL".)
Intuitive parking assist mute button
F
Temporarily mutes the intuitive parking assist sounds.
Operating the shift position automatically cancels mute.
