8-2. Toyota parking assist monitor
Symptom
Rear camera image is
difficult to see.
The washer switch does
not respond.
Likely cause
Foreign matters (such
as water droplets, mud,
snow and snow melting
agents.) is on the cam-
era lens.
Foreign matters (such
as Ice, snow and mud)
is attached to surround-
ing parts of the camera
lens.
The panoramic view
monitor is malfunction-
ing.
Solution
Splash the camera with
a large amount of water
and then wipe the cam-
era lens clean with a
soft, damp cloth.
Remove foreign mat-
ters.
Have the vehicle
inspected by your
Toyota dealer.
